Landscape Photos - Before and After

Shooting landscapes is what first really got me into photography. The adventures you'd set out on with friends, the new friends made along the way, the incredible places you'd visit - there's just nothing else quite like it. But when I picked up my first DSLR I realized theres a lot more to taking photographs than just finding the right composition, having the proper settings on your camera, and pressing the shutter button.

Backpacking to Havasu Falls - Part II

I began my hike from the Hualapai Hilltop parking lot around 5 AM. The trail starts off going down a series of switchbacks where you descend around 1,000 feet in the first mile or so. Almost immediately I ran into my first obstacle; four horses, two of which were babies. The trail was quite narrow, so I made sure not to get too close to the horses as they were slowly walking down in front of me.
