During May 17-19, 2016 I hiked down to Havasu Falls, located in northwestern Arizona. After a 3-hour drive from Flagstaff, I arrived at the Hualapai Hilltop Parking Lot around 2 AM. I slept for a few hours in my truck before beginning my trek down into the Canyon around 5:30 AM (in order to avoid the intense afternoon sun). My pack weighed 50 pounds. In addition to all the necessities (tent, sleeping bag, snacks, food, water, clothes, etc.), I also brought my camera gear. These are my pictures from the trip. I will be writing a blog post about this adventure that will go into much more detail.
